Tell me a Story

A lot of my friends met their partners through a dating site so I thought I would join a dating site too, to see if I could find the man of my dreams. I felt like a bit of a gooseberry when we would all go out together and they were there with there with their other halves and I was the only single one there. Everywhere I looked the were couple after couple and I started to feel really lonely.

I joined a dating site and within a few short weeks I met up with someone I had been chatting with. He was so lovable. A true gent. He made me laugh so much, I thought he was hilarious. There was a lot of flirting between us and he kept trying to tickle me. We met up with each other a few more times before we started to take things one step further, and since then neither of us have looked back. We moved in together after 6 months and got engaged. We spent a lot of time together going out to the cinema and out for meals etc. We went on holiday together and when we came back we set a date for the big day. We are now happily married with 1 child and another on the way. I am so happy I went on the dating site as I never would have found my soul mate. I have never been so happy in my life. My best friend has also found love on a dating site and is happy too. She has recently gotten engaged and has started to plan her big day.I never would have thought that I wouldfind"the one" by joining a dating site.

Internet dating is becoming very popular and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It's great fun and you don't have to meet up with someone if you are not sure if you like them or not. It's different if you are dating someone face to face, if you don't like them it can make things very awkward. Dating sites take away all that awkwardness and it's up to you to find out if you want to meet the other person or not. It's also a good way to make new friends and chat to people you wouldn't necessarily go and chat to if you were out and about.
