Tell me a Story

Many people have doubted internet dating sites. However, many of them as well have discovered that internet dating can really lead to a serious relationship.

Who would have ever thought that two people who are strangers to each other will find themselves in love and committing each other's love for the rest of their lives?

I was watching the television the other night where the program featured a couple who met through an internet dating site. The couple told their story from the beginning, how they met in person and how they finally decided to get married and be together. They are both in their late 40's which are not young anymore. The woman was a divorcee and the guy was still a bachelor when they met.

"It was indeed a true love", Claire said looking at Kevin's eyes. They have sparkle in their eyes that show that they are really and deeply in love with each other. "Kevin and I are soul mates. We knew that from the very first time we met. He is the husband that God has destined me to have in this lifetime. I knew it", she continued.

Kevin was listening to Claire and the happiness in his smile cannot be denied. "When Claire and I went to our first date we had dinner in a cosy restaurant. We were chatting and trying to get to know each other more. Although we had communicated on-line prior to that meeting, it felt like we had still so much stories about each other that we want to share. It was a long evening and that was the most beautiful and unforgettable night I have ever had in my life until now. Before we separated ways that night I asked Claire to hold my hands once more. I just wanted to feel the warmth coming from both of us. The feeling was intense and it felt like we have known each other for a long period of time. When we held our hands, face to face, close to each, we felt a magnetic force trying to join us. That night ended with a kiss that we will always remember for the rest of our lives together", Kevin narrated with so much emotion. His eyes were teary.

After watching that interview on the television I have this thinking that people are really destined prior to their creation and time here on earth. Technology has a very huge part in the realization of many of those people's dreams to meet their lifetime partner. Internet dating is becoming more popular nowadays. Many are doubtful about its credibility though. But Claire and Kevin are live witnesses of the good thing that internet dating can bring to some people's lives.
