It was a beautiful day the sun was hot and there was a light cool breeze in the air, branches were swinging in the trees, birds were singing and the sound of children laughing filled the air as they played in the park swinging, sliding and chasing each other.
This particular day I was out walking my dog, I have a king Charles spaniel, he is a soft tempered dog who loves attention especially from children. We had been to the woods were there are three huge lakes, although it can be quite a trek to go around all three in one afternoon, Jake is my dogs name, he loves to swim so there is no way i can keep him from diving in the lakes, he likes to chase the ducks and sometimes if he is very energetic he will attempt to chase the fish, I can not say that I have had a fish supper yet though I do not think it will ever be likely.
There are lots of fun things my dog enjoys about the woods, some of his hobbies tend to be a bit scary though such as peeping in fox and badger holes, he sniffs the wild mushrooms which I know nothing about so again that worries me in case he becomes ill, there's also a huge tree with some rope and branch swinging from it Jake loves to play tug of war with it, he once slipped but carried on gripping the branch with his teeth, it looked quite funny as I watched him swinging with his eyes as wide as they could go.
I have not had Jakes bits removed so that when he is old enough I can breed him, so I sometimes have to call to him because he gets quite exited around bitches that are in season, I do think though Jake may have found true love, although he is a curious dog I have never seen him so happy with another dog or bitch, I had just met with a colleague who also had a female king Charles spaniel, we met initially to date each other, the chemistry was great, I think it is time I should start considering the future, I am wondering if this lovely lady will take my hand in marriage, there may even be a double wedding and eventually children and puppies running around our ankles.
