Tell me a Story

Mary was in her local pub where she spotted an advert for an adult dating night which was to be held at the local community centre the day after tomorrow. She longed for a boyfriend as it had been over two years since she last had a boyfriend. Since she lost her first love through a tragic car crash she never felt like herself and she could not be herself with anybody thus leaving her all alone. However it had been over five years since she lost Pete and she decided she wasn't going to be alone any longer and she would find someone she could truly be herself with.

It was the day of the adult dating night and Mary decided to dress up a little bit and make an effort thus wearing a little black dress and subtle make up she scrubbed up very well. She lived alone with her cat who every morning without fail would tickle her nose as he would kiss her nose and this would wake her up for work. As she was about to leave for the adult dating night she gave Thomas her cat a cuddle and hoped her night would bring her some luck. As she got to the centre she realised there was a lot of people that had turned up and what was more interesting was she recognised someone.

She had only been there for an hour and already she was talking and having a great time. Out of nowhere this guy came and took her to the side. She knew instantly who it was ''Josh Hart from the kings school right'' Josh laughed it was him and he still looked good. Josh was the school stud that every girl wanted to be with at the time Mary was not the prettiest girl but over the years she grew up into something hot. ''Mary Joesph i cant believe its you, your so beautiful i mean in school you looked so different but i knew it was you as soon as you started talking.'' Josh was being very touchy with her and she felt like a teenager again. She couldn't believe it Josh was flirting with her, back in high school she was lucky if he even remembered her name. Josh paid his condolences about her first love which bought back some tears but she knew she had to let go and the reason she came to the adult dating night was to let her hair down.

The next morning she felt great, although she didn't find the love of her life but she reunited with an old school pal and she even felt confident. Mary knew that this was the start of a bright new future and she wasn't going to be down any more, she wanted to enjoy her life as she of all people knew how short life truly is.
