Usually when someone considers dating websites, they are looking for 'the one'. That amazing person that will be perfect for them because the computer matched all their personality traits to correspond and intertwine perfectly.

When I started sites on the internet, what I imagined, was an amazing guy, or a Beautiful girl. A sweet whisper here, of how much they adore you. Or a light Whisper that tickles your ear that you can barely feel telling you how beautiful you are on the inside and out. Nice dinners, walks on the beach maybe. New adventures with new personalities.

In reality it is very different. I have never heard anyone state in any way shape or form, that they adore me. If I did get complimented it wasn't like a "you're beautiful", it was "you're hot". It really isn't as flattering. I rarely ever get intimately close with any of the people i meet off these sites. No cuddling, in fact sometimes it's even hard to joke. I have never had anyone whisper a sweet endearment in my ear.

I don't really believe in these sites. They only have on positive outlook and that is the fact that you can meet people you wouldn't have otherwise had the means of meeting. It can be a wonderful experience, but don't join one of these sites expecting mr or mrs perfect to be right around the corner for you to love and Adore. It is much more difficult then that.

If i were to suggest anything, when you date, do it the old fashioned way. No maybe those people aren't "perfect" for you. But really honestly and truthfully, how do you expect a computer to know whos meant to be? Bonds are made by knowing people, and meeting people. If relationships don't work out that's okay. And we all learn by being social, and spending time with people. We don't need to find our soul mate from a flimsy computer screen. Go out and find him or her yourself.

Our grandparents didn't seem to need these online dating sites, and neither do we.
