My friend Emily had been internet dating for a while, but it came as a big surprise when she ended up becoming a couple with a guy who had started out as only a blind date. It was even more surprising when their relationship, that started from being strangers in an 'awkward' blind date, turned long term.

I was always skeptical of the internet. Not only that, but I was not into meeting strangers. The idea of a blind date was completely strange for me, and I had never thought a serious couple, in a relationship, could come out of it. I was obviously proven wrong.

So I decided to give it a try. I let Emily set me up with a guy. When I met him, I was instantly attracted to him. He was clean cut, tall, muscular, dark, handsome. And he had this manly Aroma coming off of him. I was very interested but still nervous none the less. I tried not to show it, but there were still the occasional awkward silences. He was really funny though and tried to put me at ease and at dinner I found myself relaxing.

We had dinner and I found myself having a Couple glasses of champagne. It was wonderful. The aroma coming off of the food was to die for, and the taste of the dessert was like heaven in your mouth. We had a lovely supper together and he invited me out to dance.

Before I knew it I was being twirled around on the dance floor, it must have been the drinks... or perhaps it was the mix of the aroma and friction going on between me and my date. But one moment I was dancing and the next I found myself on the ground. I had fainted.

How embarrassing! I managed to laugh it off though and ward off all those "are you okay", and "I cant help you?" questions. However it did make our date unique, and I found we were much more comfortable with each other after that. He did ask me out, and we're still going on strong. Sometimes embarrassing moments, aren't as bad as they seem.
